Terms of Use
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Rishad Akhundov (“I”), who makes and runs Townvite. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Townvite.
Who can use Townvite
- You must be 16 or older.
- Townvite is invite-only. You join with an invite from someone already in the app or a code you were given.
- You need to give a real email address that is yours and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account. One person, one account.
How to behave
Townvite works because people in it know and trust each other. Please:
- Be kind. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate or discrimination.
- Do not post anything illegal, sexually explicit, violent or shocking, and absolutely nothing involving the sexual exploitation of children.
- Do not pretend to be someone else, and do not share other people’s private information or pictures without their permission.
- Do not spam, advertise, scam or use Townvite to sell things.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the app, its limits or its safety features, or to see other people’s information.
I have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive people. You can block anyone and report anything from the app, and I review reports myself. I may remove content, remove or suspend an account, or refuse an invite, without notice, when these terms are broken or someone’s safety is at risk.
Your content
What you put in Townvite (your profile, pictures, plans, messages) stays yours. You give me permission to store it and show it to the people you chose, only so the app can work. You promise that you have the right to share it and that it follows these terms. When you delete content or your account, that permission ends, apart from the backups described in the Privacy Policy.
Meeting people
Townvite helps people who already know each other make plans in real life. I do not organize, supervise or take part in those plans, and I cannot check anyone’s claims. Use your own judgment, tell someone where you are going, and take care when you meet. I am not responsible for what happens at or because of a plan.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in the app (You, the gear, Delete my account) and it cannot be undone. I may stop providing Townvite or change it at any time; if I end the service I will try to give notice first so you can save your data.
The service is as it is
Townvite is a small project made by one person. I work hard to keep it running and safe, but I provide it “as is”, without promises that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses you could have avoided, and my total responsibility to you for anything connected with Townvite is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, or liability that cannot be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Apple
You also agree to Apple’s standard terms for apps from the App Store. Apple is not responsible for Townvite, its support or any claims about it; those are my responsibility.
Changes
I may update these terms. If I change them in a way that matters, I will tell you in the app, and by continuing to use Townvite after that you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
